Evolved from the Honda Silicon Valley Lab and incorporated as Honda R&D Innovations, Inc. in April 2017 in Mountain View, California, with a global HQ set up in Tokyo in 2023, it runs the Honda Xcelerator program and Honda Xcelerator Ventures, partnering with and investing in startups in mobility, energy, robotics and AI.
