AlignBase, founded in March 2025 in Beijing, builds an industrial AI operating system centered on a full-factor large model that automates the mapping of enterprise business workflows, with a focus on deploying large models in core industrial manufacturing scenarios.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Suzhou Industrial Park (formerly Zongwei Automation), Zongwei Technology develops magnetic-drive conveying and linear-motor direct-drive motion control systems. It is one of the few Chinese players with full-stack in-house development spanning real-time systems, motion control algorithms, servo drives, sensing and dedicated motors. Its sTrak intelligent magnetic conveying systems serve semiconductor, new energy, premium personal care and 3C electronics production lines.

Luffy AI develops neuroplasticity-adaptive AI controllers using sparse neural networks trained in simulation and fine-tuned in the real world, enabling industrial motors, variable frequency drives, pumps, fans, and conveyor systems to self-optimize in real time for energy reduction. The company was founded in 2019 at the Culham Innovation Centre in Oxfordshire and is headquartered in Abingdon, UK.

Hestus (YC S24) builds AI-powered CAD software. Its first product, Sketch Helper, is an Autodesk Fusion plugin (SolidWorks in alpha) that automates repetitive mechanical design tasks such as sketch completion, constraints and interference checks, toward what the company calls Mechanical Intelligence. It reports more than 5,000 engineers using it across drones, robotics, industrial equipment and consumer products.

Hemu Intelligence (legal entity: Hemu Artificial Intelligence Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd.) was founded in May 2026, incubated jointly by the Dongguan Institute of Next-Generation AI Industry Technology and mold manufacturer Duanpin Precision. Registered in Chengdu with its core incubation and operations in Dongguan (plus a Guangzhou branch), the company focuses on physical AI and manufacturing semantic computing for mold making, developing its own Uniwood large model to build an AI process brain covering quotation, mold design, DFM analysis, process scheduling, production and quality inspection, with plans to extend into hardware forming a "brain + carrier" product model.

Foundry Robotics, founded in 2025 and based in Emeryville, California, is a dual-use contract manufacturer building an "Everything Factory": flexible robotic assembly cells driven by vision-language-action models that switch between products such as drones, robot dogs, battery packs and satellite components without retooling. Founder & CEO Adarsh Kulkarni was Head of Robotics at Scale AI; co-founder Emmanuel Lamacchia led Tesla's Model Y program.
