About
NetSuite is a cloud business-management software company founded in 1998 by Evan Goldberg as NetLedger and renamed NetSuite in 2003. It offers an integrated cloud suite covering financials/ERP, CRM, e-commerce, order and inventory management and supply chain, mainly for mid-market companies. Oracle acquired it in 2016 for about $9.3 billion in cash; it now operates as the Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit, based in Austin, Texas. Recent releases embed generative AI features such as Ask Oracle and NetSuite Prompt Studio, and NetSuite Next rebuilds the product around AI and natural-language interaction.
