CarbonSix

Robotics

CarbonSix, founded in 2024 in San Francisco, was built by the founding team behind SuaLab, a Korean industrial AI vision company acquired by Cognex for approximately $200 million in 2019. The company takes a deployment-first approach, delivering plug-and-play automation tools to factories including dexterous robotic hands, robotic arms, and an imitation learning toolkit that generates high-quality task data from customer use to feed back into model training. The company has active commercial contracts and scaled revenue, and in September 2025 released the industry's first standardized imitation learning toolkit for manufacturing.

Acorn Robot

Robotics

Beijing Acorn Robot Technology Co., Ltd., founded in late 2024, is a general-purpose embodied-intelligence company whose core team comes from Tsinghua University and Harvard, spanning mechanical engineering, neuroscience and AI. It takes a bottom-up approach centered on tactile perception, giving robots manipulation 'instinct' first and letting operational intelligence emerge through physical-world interaction, emphasizing a 'zero-data cold start'. On 10 August 2026 it released the Natus AGE-0 embodied-instinct model and offers standardized dual-arm flexible production cells under a 'manufacturing-as-a-service' model, reportedly deployed in cosmetics ODM factories (leadership claims are company self-reported and not independently verified).

寅成智能

Robotics

Shanghai Yincheng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2023 and based in the Qingpu district of Shanghai, builds embodied-AI picking robots for logistics. The company develops NECESSI, its own end-to-end embodied intelligence model, paired with a general-purpose picking robot that autonomously recognises, grasps and places mixed items, replacing manual induction and sortation work at express-delivery transfer centres and extending into pharmacy, retail and elderly-care settings. Reported customers include SF Express, STO Express, JD.com, China Post, Kejie and the overseas logistics operator GOFO. Founder Qunyan Pu studied computer science at Fudan University, holds a master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and previously worked on AI productisation at Google and built the AI platform team at autonomous-driving company Nuro from scratch.

FieldAI

Robotics

FieldAI, founded in 2023 in Irvine, California, develops foundational embodied AI models (robot brains) that enable humanoid robots, quadruped robots, and autonomous vehicles to adapt to new environments.
