About
TERASi, founded in 2020 and headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a hardware spinout from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. It designs and manufactures millimetre-wave wireless hardware in-house; its flagship product is a pocket-sized directional-beam radio built on its patented AirCore antenna technology that can be deployed on a tripod or drone in minutes and delivers gigabit-class data links over more than 100 km. Because the signal is highly directional, it is far harder to intercept, detect or jam than conventional RF or satellite links. Target customers are European armed forces and defence/resilience organisations operating in GPS-, satcom- or RF-denied environments, with adjacent SATCOM, telecom, surveillance and off-grid industrial use cases.
