Funding events come in two tiers, confirmed and rumored: rounds reported only by media without official confirmation are labeled rumored and excluded from stats; they become confirmed after an official announcement or cross-confirmation from multiple sources.

Every funding event carries a source link and date, traceable to the original report or an SVTR weekly issue. Sources include official announcements from companies and investors, leading tech and venture media, and regulatory and exchange filings; community submissions are used only for cross-checking, never as sole confirmation.

Market events are scanned daily and human-reviewed before entering the database. Undisclosed amounts are marked as undisclosed, never invented.

Its core team spans engineers from global tech giants, investors managing USD and RMB funds, and researchers from world-renowned universities.
