From October 2025 to September 2026, the SVTR AI Venture Database recorded at least 74 Chinese AI startups closing confirmed US dollar–denominated rounds, 79 rounds in total, with $11B disclosed. Companies with the largest single rounds: Moonshot AI ($3.5B, Series D+), D-Robotics ($400M, Series C), Galbot ($300M).

Scope
"Chinese AI startups" is defined by headquarters country, including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
"US dollar round" means the round is denominated in USD per the announcement or report. It describes how the round was priced, not that every investor is a USD fund: RMB funds often join USD rounds.
Only confirmed equity rounds count; IPOs, debt, grants and secondary sales are excluded.
Some rounds do not state a currency and are not counted, so counts and totals are lower bounds.
