Alibaba Cloud, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Hangzhou, is the wholly owned cloud computing business of Alibaba Group. Built on its self-developed Apsara operating system, it offers compute, storage, database, networking and model-as-a-service offerings to enterprises and developers, and develops the Qwen family of large language models. It is one of China's largest public cloud providers.
